This is a film about exploring the inner world of humans. There are no spoken lines in this film; it tells its story purely through audiovisual language. The protagonist, Gong Baodongzhu, lives a nomadic life. Two treasure-hunting tomb raiders, obsessed with wealth, discover treasures in Gong Baodongzhu's family's burial site. To obtain the treasure, they resort to deceit and destroy the local ecological environment. Gong Baodongzhu tries his best to protect the treasures and the sacred mountains and rivers. Later, when the two tomb raiders attempt to blast for minerals near the burial site and mishandle the explosives, they end up getting killed. Furthermore, death is the eternal theme of humanity. The film shows the protagonist reflecting on the issues of life and death after his wife passes away, as he seeks to understand the essence of death and ultimately accept it, leading to a profound integration of life and death.
