The story takes place in Prague in 1967, just before Christmas, with families immersed in the festive atmosphere. 16-year-old Michal (played by Michael Beran) has a crush on the girl from the neighboring house, Kindlena (played by Kristýna Nováková), but unfortunately, his feelings are unreciprocated, and the two families are not close. Michal has already tasted the pain of unrequited love at such a young age. Later, Kindlena's mother passes away, and her father unexpectedly falls in love with Michal's aunt. This marriage helps to mend the relationship between the two families, and Michal finally finds the chance to confess his long-hidden affection for Kindlena, but she seems quite timid about this relationship. As Kindlena prepares to travel to London with her father, can Michal hold on to his little love?
