The young and financially struggling Woo In-kyung (played by Yoon Gi-sang) has failed the judicial examination for three consecutive years. To earn some living expenses, he takes a job as a prison guard. However, right from his first day on the job, he is bullied by inmates, leaving him feeling helpless. Jong-ho (played by Jo Jae-hyun), who has been a guard for 10 years, reminds him that "animals won't bully someone stronger than themselves," and starts teaching In-kyung how to manage the criminals step by step.
