The remote town of Barclay is a peaceful and serene place, where the local residents are friendly and kind, filled with happiness and joy. Renee Chaplin (played by Felicity Mason) is a beautiful girl in the town who recently inherited her family's estate and farm. However, misfortune strikes; due to the family's debt issues, the property and farm she just acquired are seized by the bank. Heartbroken, Renee decides to leave her hometown with her boyfriend to live in another city. Just as they are about to leave, a multitude of violently burning meteorites suddenly fall from the sky. People are struck by the meteorites, but then they rise from the ground, transformed into brutal, bloodthirsty living dead. Renee's boyfriend is no exception, and just when she seems destined to be killed by him, she is rescued at the critical moment by farmer Marion (played by Mungo McKay). She and a few other survivors must find a way to escape this infected death town...
