French independent production company Gaumont will produce a film about Celine Dion titled "The Power of Love," with a budget of $23 million. The film will feature several of Dion's classic songs, including "All by Myself," "My Heart Will Go On," and "I'm Alive." Directed by Valérie Lemercier (known for "French Fried Vacation" and "The Stupid Adventures of Pierre Richard"), who will also portray Dion, the film chronicles Dion's journey from her birth and upbringing in Quebec in the 1960s, her rise to fame as a teenager, and her relationships with her manager and husband Rene Angelil, as well as her family. It will be released in France on December 2, 2020.
