Polite (Nine-Christine Jönsson) is a young woman who has been living in a state of depression for a long time, with strong suicidal tendencies, all closely related to her very unhappy childhood. The relationship between Polite and her mother is extremely poor, and recently, she found a job that made her happy, but this meant she could no longer live in the school dormitory, which in turn meant that Polite had to move back in with her mother. Soon, the daily interaction sparked the deep-seated conflicts hidden between mother and daughter. At the same time, Polite encounters a man named Geista (Bengt Eklund). Could this man be Polite's lifeline?
