Juliette (Kristin Scott Thomas) personally killed her 6-year-old son. She was sentenced to 15 years in prison, during which her husband divorced her, and her parents severed ties with her. Only her younger sister, Lili, secretly misses her beloved sister. 15 years later, Juliette is released from prison and stays at Lili's (Elsa Zylberstein) home.
