A small company employee, Rolando (played by Chan Baichang), is a hopeless gambler and a braggart. He falls in love at first sight with his new boss, A-Hong (played by Ko Lai Hung), but has no chance to get closer to her. Rolando, along with the company manager, visits the gambling king, Sing Gor, and in a moment of impulse, causes the king to lose in a game. Soon after, Rolando's middle-aged virgin friend, A-Fan (played by Fung Tsui Fan), is abandoned by his assertive girlfriend and is keen to start a family. The two head to the Philippines, where A-Fan unexpectedly finds a submissive Filipino girl to marry, making a big splash among his friends. Rolando also begins to pursue A-Hong, but she declares her disdain for gamblers. Determined to prove himself, Rolando vows to quit gambling. After many trials, he finally shows A-Hong his sincerity. However, he discovers that A-Hong's father is actually the gambling king, Sing Gor. To gain Sing Gor's acceptance, Rolando has no choice but to return to the casino...
