Chen Jiarong (Yin Yangming) and Zhou Qiguang (Lin Junxian) have been childhood friends with a strong bond of friendship. However, due to a twist of fate, both of them fall in love with a beautiful girl named Li Yulan, causing a rift in their friendship. In the end, Li Yulan chooses Chen Jiarong, and a dejected Zhou Qiguang leaves his hometown, distancing himself from the land that causes him pain.
