It tells the story of three sisters who grew up in a traditional restaurant in Kanazawa. The eldest sister, Miyazawa Murasaki (Mimura), has married and settled in Tokyo as a full-time housewife; the second sister, Kashimoto Ai (Higa Ai Mi), works as a teacher in Toyama; while the youngest sister, Kashimoto Akane (Sasaki Nozomi), diligently works as the proprietress of the restaurant. One day, the news of their grandmother's passing brings the three sisters back to Kanazawa, where they are also informed that their mother, whom they thought was dead, is actually still alive.
