Adapted from Liu Fudao's short story "The Moon over South Lake." The Xinghuo Chemical Plant is a small street factory that needs to upgrade its boiler due to expanded production. The technician, Ke Ting, is very anxious about this. One morning, Ke Ting stands by the lakeside, searching for a girl riding a bicycle, but he mistakes her for someone else and returns home disappointed. Why does Ke Ting want to find that girl? They had an interesting encounter during an intense and unintentional bike race. After the race, the girl's bike broke down, and she went to the lakeside to have it repaired, where she met Ke Ting again.
