The independent film "Among Ravens," viewed through the eyes of a child observing the adult world, has been acquired by Gravitas, known for films like "The Lodge" (starring Naomi Watts) and "Silent City." Today, a full-length trailer has been released. The trailer is narrated from the perspective of ten-year-old Joey, using a gathering of ravens as a metaphor for the adults around her. Each July 4th, her mother, stepfather, biological father, and several friends come together for a reunion in Idaho. This year, a newcomer who is a photographer joins the gathering, causing secrets and pasts to gradually come to light in front of the camera. The film stars Amy Smart, known for "The Butterfly Effect," and will be released in North America on July 18.
