Social worker Zhang Jiandong (played by Sun Yaowei) has been dedicated to serving the homeless for many years. Recently, he has been busy with a significant event that could bring pride to the homeless – the Homeless World Cup! Lantern Street, hidden in a corner of a bustling city, has become a shelter for many homeless people due to its prime location. The "residents" here regard the old homeless man known as “Black Magic” as the leader of Lantern Street. Former top league player A Rong (played by Zhang Jin) ends up in prison due to gambling and match-fixing. After being released, he has nothing and, feeling hopeless, joins the group of people like Da Tou (played by Huang Younan) and Ah Hua (played by Liu Yida) at Lantern Street. Zhang Jiandong forms a team with the homeless from Lantern Street, and thus the Morning Light Football Team is born. A team made up of homeless individuals inevitably faces various challenges. Zhang Jiandong and others support themselves and solve training issues, and soon they encounter a challenge from a wealthy boys' team, officially starting the journey of a team that travels far and wide to compete...
