Young couple Zhang Daming and Li Jiaying are newlyweds, enjoying a harmonious relationship. Every day after work, they take a ferry home together. One day, they encounter their classmate Ma Zhengkang, who works as a car dealer; Ma uses his silver tongue to promote cars to the couple. They become very interested, sell their camera and diamond ring, and finally fulfill their wishes. On the day they pick up the car, their landlord Gu Qingfeng and his wife are astonished to see them return in a car, and they cannot help but see the couple in a new light. After that, the couple takes turns learning to drive after work. Four months later, they both obtain their driver's licenses and agree that whoever finishes work first will drive.
