In 1985, during the escalating rivalry between the U.S. and the Soviet Union, Sylvester Stallone directed and starred in the fourth installment of the Rocky series, which aims to inspire and promote the American spirit. This film tells the story of Rocky’s (played by Sylvester Stallone) friend, a former American boxing champion, who goes to the Soviet Union to fight the boxing robot they created, but ultimately meets with misfortune against his opponent. To avenge his friend and uphold his country's honor, Rocky decides to step back into the ring.
