In the artistic capital of Paris, several impoverished artists live in a low-income neighborhood. They include an Albanian painter, an Irish composer, and a French playwright. Despite their difficult circumstances, they remain committed to their craft and long for societal recognition one day. Nonetheless, they maintain an optimistic outlook on life and yearn for love. They help each other and strive tenaciously. Eventually, an opportunity presents itself, and the arrival of a provincial girl named Mimi subtly changes their dynamics. The painter falls in love with her, but soon, he is expelled for illegal entry. However, with the support of good friends, he returns to Paris as a freelance artist. Not only does his career take a turn for the better, but he also wins Mimi's love. However, good times are short-lived; their magazine shuts down, and the three return to where they started, facing even more tragic destinies… ----kavkalu
