In a small coastal town in the north, the Liu family lives with their grandfather Liu Shikai, who is stubborn and strict about rules; their father Liu Weiguo, who is tough on the outside but soft on the inside and very concerned about his image; their mother Wang Peifen, who dotes on her son and is enthusiastic about public welfare; and their grandson Liu Shouchuang, who is struggling to make a living in the south while pursuing his photography dreams.
