In the early 1980s, Spain was undergoing a great transformation. In a remote town on the swamps of the Guadalquivir River, a brutally cruel murder of a young girl occurred. Detective Pedro (Raúl Arévalo) from Madrid and his partner Juan (Javier Gutiérrez) were assigned to investigate the matter. However, the murder case was not as simple as the feudal conservative local residents thought; the two gradually discovered it was part of a series of missing girl cases. They were likely facing not just a cruel murderer, but an organization. With key clues provided by the victims' mother (Nerea Barros), the case became increasingly perplexing. During the investigation, Pedro also uncovered Juan's unknown past, further unsettling was the corruption in society and the poverty and indifference of the townspeople, presenting immense challenges for both of them.
