The story takes place in the distant year of 1723, an era where vampires coexist with humans. As the vampire king, Kagan (played by Ben Kingsley) uses his immense power and evil nature to drive humanity away, leaving those who have not yet become the vampires' prey to hide like ants in the city of Sulfur. Even in such a dark time, there are brave warriors fighting for freedom and light, known as the "Hellfire" group. To gain even greater power, Kagan decides to search for the treasures left by the vampire ancestors, which also means that once he succeeds, the end of humanity will truly arrive.
