Ke Dao (played by Chang Lan Tian) works in the editing department. Recently, his wife (played by Zhang Li Mei) has noticed that he seems a bit unwell, acting nervously and speaking oddly. After pressing him, she learns that he is troubled by the thrilling story "The Right Misstep" by Si Ma Wen, becoming deeply engrossed and unable to extricate himself. His wife takes him to see a doctor, who advises him to travel to relieve his stress. On the train to another city, they find three identical suitcases in the luggage rack, one of which belongs to Ke Dao. Shortly after the train departs, Ke Dao feels thirsty and wants to get a cup. Looking up, he notices that only one suitcase remains on the rack. Upon opening it, he is horrified to discover it contains dismembered human remains, leaving the couple in shock and unsure of what to do. They consider reporting it to the police but fear retaliation from the murderer still being on the train. They want to recover their suitcase, but there are so many identical suitcases on the rack, which one is theirs...?
