Lion dance is very popular in Southern martial arts schools and has its own rules. If someone oversteps the bounds during a lion dance, it can easily lead to disputes between schools. The Zheng Tianshou martial arts school became embroiled in a feud with the Lu Zhengfu school after being provoked during a lion dance.
