In a bustling metropolis, there is an unknown rock band that has been working hard. One of the band members, Yoshiyuki Tamura (played by Ryuhei Matsuda), hails from Tobu Island in the Seto Inland Sea of Hiroshima Prefecture and has been away from home for seven years. Faced with an uncertain future and the recent news of his girlfriend Yuka Aizawa's (played by Atsuko Maeda) pregnancy, this young man with a Mohican haircut finally decides to stop his band activities and return home after a long absence to get married. After a lengthy journey, Yoshiyuki and Yuka finally set foot on their hometown's land. His father, Osamu Tamura (played by Akira Emoto), is currently the conductor of the local school symphony orchestra and is quite stubborn. The return of the rebellious eldest son inevitably leads to a quarrel. Fortunately, after overcoming many difficulties, Yoshiyuki manages to make it to the wedding day. Just when the celebration reaches its climax, his father suddenly falls ill...Inadvertently, everyone must face life and death.
