The story takes place in Abashiri City, Hokkaido, where an ordinary taxi driver, Masaki Koyanagi (played by Ryo Nishikido), encounters a beautiful girl in a wheelchair, Tsukasa Yamamoto (played by Keiko Kitagawa), at the civic gymnasium.
