One day, Li Guohao takes Yan Nan for a drive to the countryside, where the photography enthusiast Hu Xiaobin (played by Wu Chao) happens to be nearby taking photos and becomes attracted to Yan Nan. Taking advantage of Li Guohao's car breaking down, Hu Xiaobin steps forward to help, and once the car is restarted, Yan Nan offers him a ride into the city as a thank you. Shortly after this encounter, Hu Xiaobin asks Yan Nan out again and tells her that he once knew a girl named Jia Niang (played by Yu Nan) who looks almost identical to her. From then on, Yan Nan becomes curious about Jia Niang, who shares her appearance but may have a very different fate.
