2015 Best Film Nominee at the Hamburg Film Festival in Germany. Directed by Stefan Rick, who was nominated for the Golden Goblet Award at the 14th Shanghai International Film Festival for "Double Crime." This new work is not related to Pink Floyd's album "The Dark Side of The Moon," but is adapted from the bestselling 2006 novel of the same name by "Switzerland's most successful contemporary author" Martin Suter. The protagonist, Moritz Bleibtreu, is familiar to audiences from works like "Run Lola Run" and "The Experiment." The story follows his character, a legal elite, whose life gradually spirals out of control due to an adventure involving poisonous mushrooms... The director is particularly adept at creating atmosphere, with shaky camera work and surreal perspectives, drawing the audience into the unknown fears alongside the protagonist.
