François (Gad Elmaleh) is a kind-hearted valet who, though unremarkable, has his own dreams and hopes. Unfortunately, these dreams abandon him when his girlfriend cruelly rejects his marriage proposal. Disheartened, François walks through the streets, where he witnesses a loud argument between a man and a woman. The woman, named Ilena (Alice Taglioni), is in a relationship with a well-known politician. At this moment, François has no idea that, with the click of a journalist's camera, his life is about to change dramatically. The next day, a large photo in a magazine causes a stir. It turns out that Ilena is the politician's mistress, and to get rid of her, the politician naively drags François, who was passing by, into the scandal, making him his scapegoat. Thus, François inexplicably begins a cohabitation with Ilena. What kind of absurd situations will François find himself in while dealing with the cold and elegant Ilena?
