The story takes place in a small town in the 1990s, where a series of murders indicates that a ruthless and cold-blooded serial killer is lurking in this rain-soaked city, and this person is very likely to be an insider from a local factory. Yu Guowei (played by Duan Yihong) is a staff member in the factory's security department, nicknamed "Detective Yu" for solving multiple theft cases in the factory.
