In 1922, France. Female novelist Suzanna Blanquette (played by Laetitia Casta), suffering from writer's block, moves to a quiet countryside mansion in search of inspiration, hoping to quickly complete her long-overdue work. However, in this unfamiliar place, Suzanna's progress remains stagnant. The empty, old mansion is filled with swarming mice and bizarre visions that further torment the already tense writer. In a strange room, Suzanna suddenly experiences a surge of creativity and writes furiously, but her anxiety grows as the strange sounds and illusions constantly plague her nerves. The mysterious mansion seems to hide unknown secrets...
