Sonia (Ingrid Bolsø Berdal) is a prominent singer and actress before World War II. Nazi official Joseph is infatuated with Sonia. Her social skills and fluency in multiple languages, including German, English, and French, catch the attention of the Swedish military, who wish to use her to obtain intelligence from Germany in order to understand the movements of the German army as they occupy various European countries. Especially after Germany occupied Norway, Sweden fears that the German army might invade Sweden under the pretext of "preventing Allied interference." Sonia uses her exceptional acting skills to deceive Tebowin, becoming his mistress and starting to provide Sweden with German intelligence; her spy code name is Bill. However, as the situation of World War II changes, Tebowin demands Sonia become a German spy to steal intelligence from the Swedish and Norwegian resistance movements. Sonia is unwilling to serve Germany, but Tebowin threatens to capture her father as a hostage. To protect her family and continue gathering intelligence for Sweden and the Allies, Sonia decides to pretend to work for Germany. During this time, the Swedish military has been trying to uncover the German agent codenamed Maria. Sonia keenly notices the suspicious behavior of Andorra, who admires her. He carries a secret briefcase that contains photographs of coastal lines. Sonia discovers the same coastal line photos in Tebowin's briefcase. Therefore, Sonia collaborates with the Swedish military to track these coastal line photographs and ultimately identifies the concealed "Maria," successfully dismantling Nazi Germany's intelligence network within Sweden.
