John, Susan, Titty, and Roger finally got their parents' permission to sail on the Swallow to the long-awaited adventure on the deserted island in the lake! Surviving independently in an entirely strange place is no easy task; first, they need to find a safe docking spot for the boat, then they must manage to light a fire, cook their meals, set up a tent, and withstand heavy rain... but all of this excites the crew of the Swallow. However, the origin of that suspicious houseboat in the lake and the strange, fierce pirates remains a mystery, creating concern. Just then, they are ambushed by two female "pirates" — Nancy and Peggy! They are the owners of the Amazon. A battle for the small island ensues! Who will ultimately claim the island? Are the strange and fierce pirates friends or foes? Come join them on their adventurous journey!
