Liang Bing (played by Leung Han Man) is a lonely waiter at a tea restaurant, whose greatest hobby is listening to the underworld stories of gangsters like Bai Huayou. The brave and skilled leader of the Fusheng gang, Lang Qing (played by Zhang Yaoyang), is repeatedly depicted by Bai Huayou, making Liang Bing yearn for him. As Liang Bing grows closer to the gangsters, he unknowingly integrates into their ranks and eventually becomes a disciple of Lang Qing, whose demeanor and cunning impress Liang Bing. One day, Lang Qing and his group have a conflict with movie star and mafia leader Lei Long (played by Huang Qiusheng) at a cinema, which leads to a feud between the two groups.
