The prosecutor Emre arrives in the unfamiliar small town of Yaniklar, filled with youthful arrogance and a strong sense of moral justice. Behind the seemingly calm façade of Yaniklar, however, there are undercurrents of turmoil. Issues such as sinkholes caused by years of drought depleting groundwater and the town's notorious practice of hunting wild boar drive Emre to seek resolution to the underlying political struggles. At this moment, the local mayor's son, Sahin, invites Emre to his home for a dinner. After a night of heavy drinking, Emre wakes up the next day to find a sexual assault case has occurred at the mayor's house. Believing in his own innocence, Emre embarks on a fair investigation and apprehends the suspect, Sahin... However, he soon discovers that some elements of his fragmented memories challenge his notions of innocence and purity, and a potential witness who could help him is Murat, a newspaper publisher in conflict with the mayor. Their ambiguous relationship further complicates the case...
