Directed by Faribakhsh, a 26-year-old student of Abbas, this is his directorial debut. The story begins with a late-night argument between a couple, leaving young Ashka alone at home. By morning, the tragic news of his parents' car accident reaches him, and he is taken back to Tehran by his deaf-mute uncle and aunt, who communicate in sign language. The silence within the car raises the question of whether adults should "tell" the child about the death. This road movie, which relies less on words and more on silence, showcases stunning visual storytelling and a delicate exploration of humanity.
