A small vendor struggling to make a living by driving a taxi learns during a meeting with a bank consultant that the bribe he prepared to pay the consultant to secure a loan for his workshop has doubled. The moral oversight committee, while reviewing his complaint against the banker for extortion, also wants to take a cut. Driven to the edge of reason, the vendor shoots the banker and then commits suicide. This event sparks a nationwide discussion about civil society on the radio. Meanwhile, six taxi drivers and their passengers are driving through the night, each hoping to find their direction to a better life. The entire film takes place within 24 hours, featuring people in taxis who go to have affairs, commit murder, or embark on the unknown journeys of their lives... Each story is shot in a single take with a handheld camera. To achieve this technique, the director and the crew drove through the streets and alleys of Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. Movies produced in Bulgaria are rare each year, and the film industry lacks state funding; however, this does not diminish the artistic achievement of this low-budget film. Director Stefan Komandarev is actively seeking direction for the Bulgarian film industry and real life.
