The shrimp (played by Liu Qingyun) assists the famous gang leader Tang Jun (played by Zheng Yichen) by killing the traitor Black Bull, earning Jun's high regard. In a fit of rage, the shrimp kills the adulterer, and with Jun's efforts, he helps him escape punishment, thus the two become close friends. However, Jun is framed by his own brother Wei for drug trafficking and is wanted by the police, forcing him to return to the mainland to hide. Jun's girlfriend Chili (played by Qiu Shuzhen) goes to seek revenge on Wei but is captured and severely tortured. Two years later, Jun returns to Hong Kong and discovers that the shrimp has become a favored confidant of Wei, not knowing that it was Wei who framed Jun.
