In the bloody conflicts of Shanghai’s gangsters in the 1930s, two boys under 15, Nie Fei and Qiu Feng, are on a train sneaking into Shanghai, calculating how to earn money there. Suddenly, a fight breaks out, and Nie Fei is injured. A man named Long Ye sees this and decides to take care of them. Soon, the two grow up and are assigned by Long Ye to watch over a territory.
