"The Trip to Italy" is the sequel to Michael Winterbottom's 2010 film "The Trip." In the new film, Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon travel from the Lake District in England to the Mediterranean, embarking on their gastronomic journey along the way. The two old friends, six sumptuous meals, in a country filled with food and beautiful scenery. Coogan believes they will "drive through the most stunning landscapes they've never seen in their lives, and the only way for us to express our shock is to keep talking incessantly." In some scenes of the film, Coogan appears as Tom Hardy (who starred in "The Dark Knight Rises"), which is seen as a "good-natured tease and imitation of the movie 'The Dark Knight Rises'."
