The story takes place in Hong Kong in 1989. A-B is an intern doctor filled with a sense of justice, who likes to stand up and argue against unfairness and systems he encounters. In contrast, his friend A-Niu only cowardly hides behind A-B when faced with issues, highlighting their vastly different personalities.
