The failure of the raccoon operation leads Ace Ventura (Jim Carrey) to decide to go deep into the Himalayas for training, honing himself to prevent incidents like the raccoon operation from happening again. Time quickly passes, and one day Ace suddenly receives an invitation. The sacred object of the African Wachati tribe—a white bat—has gone missing. They hope Ace will come out of retirement to help them find this white bat. Upon stepping onto the African continent, Ace immediately begins his investigation. First, he suspects the director of the wildlife park, but he struggles to find evidence and has to abandon that line of inquiry. Next, he thinks it might be the tribal shaman who stole it, but again finds no leads. During the comical investigation, Ace discovers that the white bat is actually in the hands of two poachers, and the mastermind behind it is even the ambassador. It turns out that to monopolize the rare resource of bat guano, he instigated conflict between tribes to profit from the chaos. In the end, with the help of the animals, Ace successfully returns the white bat to its rightful place.
