Nickolin is an experienced psychologist who starts a new job at a correctional facility. She meets Idris, a sex offender who has committed a series of serious crimes. After five years of treatment, he is about to begin his first unsupervised probation period. His team is enthusiastic about his progress, but newcomer Nickolin does not trust him and tries to pressure him during his probation. Idris does everything he can to convince Nickolin of his goodwill, but slowly he transforms into the controlling man she suspected him to be from the start.
