Gao Yuan (played by Gu Shangwei) lost his parents at a young age and was sold and trained to become an underground boxer. Sha Sha (played by Choi Yoon-soo) has both parents, but was heartlessly sold to a brothel and became a prostitute. An accident brings these two similarly fated individuals together. Over time, they fall in love, but the crime boss (played by Liang Jiarun) firmly controls Sha Sha, leaving her with no choice. Love gives Gao Yuan and Sha Sha the strength to escape from the den of evil, adopting new identities to live a simple, happy life. However, just then, Gao Yuan is found to have sustained a severe brain injury, with little time left. Knowing that he cannot accompany Sha Sha through the long years ahead, Gao Yuan and his good friend Xiao Hai (played by Du Haitao) decide to travel to Thailand to try and make a fortune in an underground boxing competition, hoping to alleviate Sha Sha's concerns. In the meantime, the crime boss discovers Sha Sha's whereabouts and kidnaps her.
