In 1993, Incheon, loan shark collectors Tae-seok (played by Sung Dong-il) and Jong-pei (played by Kim Hee-won) want to recover debts from Myung-ja (played by Kim Yoon-jin), but due to Myung-ja's dire situation, they take her daughter Sung-ri (played by Park Joo-yi) as collateral.
