It has been reported that Christian Bale will co-star with Oscar Isaac in director Terry George's new film "The Promise," known for "Hotel Rwanda." The film is a love story, with the script penned by Robin Swicord, who wrote "Memoirs of a Geisha." The story is set in the final years of the Ottoman Empire (1922), where Bale plays Chris, an American journalist stationed in Paris, Isaac plays Michael, a medical student, and the female lead, Anna, finds herself in a tumultuous love triangle.
