Recently adult Yoyo (played by Charlene Choi) has many suitors, so she is always confident and feels she is incredibly charming. At her parents' request, she goes to the UK to marry her betrothed, Zhang Shisan (played by Ekin Cheng). Both find this absurd situation quite annoying but feel unable to go against their elders' wishes, so they fake a marriage with the intention of divorcing automatically after a year. Zhang Shisan brings his grandmother's heirloom to Hong Kong for Yoyo. To keep Shisan around and charge him rent, Yoyo suggests he teach at the girls' school she attends, as it could help him gather materials for his master's thesis. Shisan helps Yoyo meet boys, and when she experiences heartbreak, he helps her heal. Eventually, the two develop a relationship.
