Based on a true story, it tells the tale of Bai Xiangya (played by Han Ji-min), who has a history of attempted murder. Abused and abandoned by her mother as a child, she grows up distrustful of everyone and indifferent to everything, leading a lonely and detached life. One winter, she encounters a young girl, Ji-eun (played by Kim Si-ah), who stands helplessly on the street in tattered clothes, her frail body trembling.
