Market salesman Gan Xiaowen (played by Tan Yaowen) is naturally stingy, outspoken, and considers disrupting his friends' happiness a normal part of life. Over time, people around him begin to keep their distance, until one day, Gan Xiaowen has a dream: he sees his conscience in the dream, which tells him that he has only seven days left to live. Ah Tong is more skilled than Gan; in her presence, he is powerless. Comparing himself to her, Gan realizes how pathetic he once was and decides to change Ah Tong, unknowingly starting to change himself in the process. Meanwhile, the secret of the one-night stand ultimately leads to Tie Nan and A Yin breaking up. However, after the secret is revealed by Gan, A Yin feels relieved. A calm Tie Nan also reflects on the situation and realizes that Gan’s revelation has released the permanent knot in their hearts, prompting them to think about Gan’s merits. As the seven-day deadline approaches, Gan is injured again while trying to save Ah Tong, and on the last day of the seven-day limit, there is nobody by his hospital bed except for a disheartened Ah Tong.
