Colette (played by Vanessa Paradis) is a young prostitute who has just entered the industry, still maintaining her innocent and pure heart, along with her kind nature. One day, Colette's friend finds her and hopes she can locate and take in her child, Billy (played by Vincent Rottiers). Although the responsibility of raising a child feels too heavy for Colette, she has her own plans regarding Billy. Thus, Colette and Billy begin their cohabitation, but reality is not as simple as Colette imagined. Billy has just entered his rebellious teenage years and is at an age where he constantly goes against the grain, leading to frequent arguments between them over trivial matters. Moreover, a different kind of sentiment flows between Billy and Colette.
