Benjamin is the kind of person who, in the three-dimensional real world, is a complete loser, struggling to find his sense of existence, with no fashion sense, no friends, and no girlfriend. However, at twenty-five years old, he is a computer geek with an incredible talent for digital technology. In the film, another protagonist, Max, is a potential revolutionary yearning for the "hacker world." He notices Benjamin's brilliant talent in networking, and together with Benjamin, child prodigy Stephan, and Paul, they privately form a hacker organization called CLAY, hacking into international security systems for justice. Their extraordinary hacking skills catch the attention of the German Secret Police and Europol, while an evil hacker sees them as a threat and wants to eliminate them.
