Focuses on the dramatic life of Antonio Ligabue, which shocked all of Italy. He showed artistic talent from a young age, yet his childhood was fraught with difficulties. His Italian parents worked illegally on the Swiss border, and after his mother's death, he was sent to be raised by a couple who found him unwelcome due to his mental issues. When his identity was revealed, he was forcibly repatriated to Italy. His life was filled with turmoil as he spent countless times in psychiatric hospitals until he met a sculptor who taught him painting and sculpture, leading him to become an important outsider artist of the 20th century.
