In 1978, Bao Zhenjiang graduated from the Kaifeng City Opera School, and the graduation performance was "Bao Longtu." Just before the graduation performance, his best friend Jin Hong injured his leg and couldn't perform. Forty years later, Bao Zhenjiang and Li Yixiang set off on their journey to the United States, singing "Bao Longtu" with their classmates from the opera school at Times Square in New York. Chen Shan makes a living running a family-owned beef soup shop. The shop is small, with only two assistants, and is located deep in a narrow alley. Most customers are the old neighbors from the area. The beef soup has a pure taste, which is greatly appreciated by the patrons. Chen Shan has a deep rift with his son, Chen Qingfeng, which finally erupts during the son’s return home to commemorate the third anniversary of his mother's passing. Due to Typhoon "Mangkhut," the high-speed train to Guangzhou was canceled. Zhang Ming, a single 30-year-old planning designer, was stranded in Zhengzhou while on a business trip and unexpectedly found love.
